Traveling with a group of high school students—especially across the country to Washington, D.C.—can be a daunting task. However, the team at Marquis Discoveries has not only made it manageable but has turned it into the highlight of my academic year.  I have traveled to our nation’s capital three times with Ken Saunders, and each experience has been stress-free, exciting, and incredibly rewarding as an educator. We like to go on international cruises. Marquis has made the booking process easy and is always there to help while we are abroad.

My wife is in a power wheelchair and getting ground transportation is usually a major problem for us. Not only did they accomplish this feat but it was on time . For my first time leading an international trip, I went with Marquis Discoveries to Brazil, and I am glad I did.  Ken helped me every step of the way.  It was an amazing experience and something I will always treasure. The accommodations and experiences were above my expectations. We stayed on a ranch in the Pantanel and experienced the wildlife all around us. Every meal was surrounded by McCaws, Toucans, Parakeets, etc. In Rio we woke up to the Copacabana Beach on one side and Christ the Redeemer on the other side. It was breathtaking! No trip is perfect so when the airlines messed up our flights, Ken was there to make sure the airline fixed it.  He did not back down until it was corrected.

I think one of the best things about going with Marquis Discoveries is that they customize the trip just for you.  It is not a cookie cutter trip and they will attempt to fit in those extras that make it special. My main requests for building the Brazil trip were seeing the wildlife and exploring Rio, which we did. Marquis Discoveries went above and beyond and added in a walking/ swimming tour through 5 waterfalls and snorkeling down a clear river.  I would highly recommend Marquis Discoveries for your travel needs.
